dr. Khodor Nasser
Kratka biografija
In 2021 Khodor Nasser had his Ph.D. in Fluids and Thermodynamics Engineering (mentions: International and Cum Laude) from the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. From 2014 to 2017 he finished his M.Sc. degree (3.67 CGPA) and B.Sc. degree (3.12 CGPA) in Mechanical Engineering from Beirut Arab University in Lebanon. In 2020 he was a visiting researcher at the University of Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina to support in a national project for Mines remediation and additive extraction for lubricants. In 2022, he had participated in a research project as a research consultant at Prescouter company in the United States for selecting alternative compounds as anti-wear and extreme pressure additives/components for oil-based lubricants that have reduced amounts of sulfur or are sulfur-free. From 2023 to 2024 he was a Postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant at the center of clean mobility and thermos-fluids (CMT) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain to design and implement micromixers for hydrogen combustion in gas turbines for aviation. Currently, he is at lecturer supporting the program of M.Sc. in industrial engineering at the international University of Valencia in Spain. In 2024 he joined the team at the laboratory for Tribology and interface nanotechnology (TINT) as a postdoctoral, MSCA COFUND scheme-based researcher for the study of electrical properties of low-viscous lubricants for tribological purposes in mechanical bearings of electrical vehicles (EVs). His research competencies include tribology, friction, wear, nanolubricants, nanomaterials, surface and structural analysis, energy saving, efficiency boosts, engines, gear boxes, wind turbines, machines, thermophysical properties and characterization devices and techniques, numerical analysis of heat transfer fluids, microcontrollers for mechatronics equipment, thermal designs, mass and heat transfer, thermal energy storage, micromixers, and clean emissions. His teaching skills include thermal and fluid engineering, design and analysis tools for machines and engines, thermal machines and thermodynamics.
