dr. Ajay Pratap Singh Lodhi

Dr. Ajay Pratap Singh Lodhi is a researcher currently pursuing a European postdoctoral fellowship under the Mobility GT program (2024-2026). His expertise lies in tribology, Tribochemistry, lubricants, metalworking fluids, corrosion, and coatings. Dr. Lodhi is focused on advanced topics such as nanomanufacturing through Tribochemistry and hydrogen permeation, with extensive experience in surface characterization and chemical analysis. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral research fellow (2023-2024) on an EPSRC-funded Friction and Trent grant at the University of Leeds, UK. He earned his Ph.D. in Tribology from IIT Delhi in 2022, following an MEng in Tribology & Maintenance (2016) and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (2014) from India.
Dr. Lodhi holds one Indian patent and has published 6 peer-reviewed international journal papers. He has also contributed a chapter to a scholarly book and presented his research at several international conferences. Additionally, Dr. Lodhi is a lifelong member of the Tribology Society of India.
