An intelligent system for condition monitoring of rotating machinery
In the underlying subproject an intelligent system for condition monitoring of rotating machinery will be developed. One of the key ideas of the underlying concept is to fully exploit the diversity of information sources i.e. standard on-line measurement instrumentation complemented with off-line special purpose laboratory checks of wear particles and lubricant samples.
Project presentation
The proposed project will develop an intelligent diagnostic system for early detection of faults during the operation of rotating machines. The main objectives of the project are:
- development of the feature extraction modules in time and frequency domain,
- construction of the knowledge base,
- prescription of the rules for maintenance action on the basis of diagnosed machine states,
- development of reasoning mechanism to be used in on-line or off-line conditions,
- design of the integrated experimental environment,
- design of a test rig and testing for intelligent system developement.
