Short biography
Rayan Ajeeb, from Lebanon, born in 1996, earned his first master's degree in mechanical engineering in the mechanical construction discipline with a thesis entitled "Fatigue life prediction modelling of steel under random loads" from the Lebanese University Faculty of Engineering in Lebanon in 2018. He then spent four years in industry as a mechanical design engineer. In 2022, he received his second master's degree in computational mechanics from the Lebanese university in collaboration with Østfold University College-Norway and Amity University-Dubai, with research in the electromechanical domain and core loss properties of materials under the mentorship of Dr. Mervat Madi and Dr. Olav Aaker. Since the beginning of 2023, he has been working as a Young Researcher at the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Laboratory for Tribology and Interface Nanotechnology under the supervision of Sr. Res. Assoc. Tomaž Požar and Prof. Mitjan Kalin. His primary research field is elastohydrodynamics.
