Nejc Osolnik
Short biography
Nejc Osolnik, born in 1998, graduated from high school for mechanical engineering in Ljubljana in 2017 and then enrolled in the faculty of mechanical engineering, University of Ljubljana. In the year of 2020, he completed undergraduate studies with final paper Design and experimental validation of a single process 3D printed accelerometer under supervision of prof. dr. Janko Slavič. He continued with postgraduate studies and got his master’s degree in 2022 with thesis Development of a geometrical model of spherical involute for bevel gears under the mentorship of prof. dr. Mitjan Kalin. Since late 2022, he is employed as a young researcher at the faculty of mechanical engineering, University of Ljubljana in Laboratory of tribology and interface nanotechnology. His main field of research is wear of polymer gears.
