Prashant Gangwani
Short biography
Being born and raised in India, Prashant got his Secondary education & Bachelors there. After completing high school in 2012, he enrolled to get his bachelor’s in engineering (B.E) from Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg (BITD) in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, he worked for various international consultancy projects in fields associated with tribology at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), India. In 2018 he moved to the USA, where he pursued his master’s from Arizona State University. Forwarding to May 2020, he was awarded his Master of Science (M.S.) with a major in Design & Vibration and emphasis on High-Performance Computing.
He is employed at the Laboratory for Tribology and Interface Nanotechnology since December 2020 as one of the GreenTRIBOS young researchers. He is currently working on a Ph.D. project involving the Effect of Water lubrication on high-performance Polymers under supervision of Prof. Dr. Mitjan Kalin.
