dr. Sebastjan Matkovič
Short biography
After graduating from high school in 2012, Sebastjan Matkovič enrolled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana and completed his B. Sc. in 2016 with a thesis entitled Stress-strain analysis of a Titus damper housing under the supervision of doc. dr. Nikolaj Mole and doc. dr. Pino Koc. The same year he enrolled in the master study programme at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana, direction of Machine Design and Mechanics: Engineering Design and Product Development. He completed a part of his postgraduate studies in Belgium at the KU Leuven. In 2018 he finished his M.Sc. with the thesis entitled Trajectory of the spindle movement of the sharpening machine under the supervision of izr. prof. dr. Robert Kunc. After graduating he was employed as a researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana. He deals with the fatigue of polymer gears.
